My Hero

An everyday hero is hard to find. It is also hard to call someone an everyday hero unless you know them. So, in this case, my dad and grandpa would be my everyday heros. To me, a hero is someone who always finds a way to bring you up, or help you out in any way possible. My dad would be this to me because he supports me in everything I do and helps me in every way possible, just like a hero would do. My grandpa, who is more of a hero to me now than before, is also my everyday hero. He also supported me in everything I did and gave me the best advice I could ever get. He passed away this year which makes him more of a hero today than he was before. Now that he is gone, my whole family including me, realizes how much of a hero he was to all of us. These two are my heros because they both have taught me lessons in life and pointed me in the right direction in where to turn. They have done the best they could in putting others before them just to do good things for people.

A hero does not need to have super powers or be able to fly. A hero only needs the capability to put others first and leave himself behind for the safety and happiness of others. Ultimately, everyday heros are hard to find and it is easier to have an everyday hero if it is someone known personally. Although, when one does find this hero, it is very hard to miss it. When one honestly puts himself behind others only for their happiness or safety, that one person deserves to be called an everyday hero.
