My everyday hero is my dad. He is a person who I can count on for anything. He is one of the only people who can comfort me. He is one of the only people who can make me smile on my worst day possible. He is one of the only people who can make me feel like what I am saying is the most important thing in the world. The weird thing is, I can't think of any examples to type about that would explain why I feel this way. I can't think of one specific example where he has comforted me when I was scared. I can't think of one specific think that he has said or done that has made me smile on my worst possible day. I can't think of one conversation that we have had that I feel like what I'm saying is so important that nothing else matters. I can only think of the last four sentences where I have explained how I can't explain why he is my hero. I think that that is one of the most powerful things, though, that constitutes him as a hero. He is the person who can do the unspeakable.
I can show him the La'Sarah video on youtube. I can fail a test. I can make him a cake for his birthday. I can teach him different text lingo. I can drop the jug of milk on the floor at 7 in the morning. At any rate, you might be wondering what all these different situations have in common, or what the vein is that runs through all of them. It's simply that I can do them all with my dad and love every minute of it rather it being just showing him a video, explaining to him how I failed my test, or being with cleaning up a mess.
