There is no bitterness to be compared
With that between two people who once loved.

This statement in Meda is still true now. The scorn of two ex lovers is like none other. Love has the ability to drive people to extremes. The hurt that ensues after love is abandoned is arguably one of the worst pains in life. Meda’s actions while irrational and absurd were in a small way justified by the pain caused by loss of her love. The love she killed for. Ironically the love the she killed to have was also the love she killed for in order to achieve revenge. Although in this case it is important to remember that Meda was cursed to love Jason forever.
