What are your thoughts on fate vs. choice? Do you believe your life is fated, or do you think you're solely in control of your life--making choices that are not governed by fate? Explain your reasons for believing in either fate or choice. Remember, this is an open, safe forum. No idea squashing.

In my opinion, fate is an all knowing power and cannot be changed no matte what you may know or do not know. If one knows some life impending fact and tries so hard not to prove it right, they will always lose to fate. Even as some do not believe in it and do not care, it will happen, for fate is always here. My opinion in believeing in this so called fate is seeing things happen and faith. I may not be able to explain this fate, but that does not mean it does not exist.
ReplyDeleteOedipus in my opinion has no control over his fate. Seeing his family and him try and try to avoid it just makes them fall harder. If they would have kept him as a sun this still would have happened for these things are inevidable. There may not be an explanation for these occurences, however they are all around us and always occuring.
