Absolute power is often run by the corrupt. Often when a person is given power they do not start out only wanting power, but after having the power for awhile they never want to give it up and become corrupt. I believe power should never be given to one person. It is never the answer, people strive for power and once they have it they will do anything to keep it.
An insidence where this is shown, which is well known to all the world is Hile Hitler. He was so obsessed with power that he was sure he would take control over the world. He caused so much caos and disaster that we are still feeling the effects of that war today. His greed and corruption caused one of the worlds worst wars ever. Therefore power should never be designated to only one man.
