Music in my Life

Music has been an important part of my life the last several years. The wide variety of music that I listen to helps me in certain situations like athletics and presentations. There has not been a particular moment that music has changed me in any way or been a defining factor in any of my decisions. Sometimes, I listen to hip hop or rap songs to get me pumped up before a race or other type of athletic event. Other times, I listen to rock to get me moving around or hyped up. Music has played an important part of my life, but it has not changed me significantly in any particular moment. The Invisible Man relates to this song very well in that he feels invisible and isolated partly because he is black. He can relate to the song "What Did I Do To Be So Black and Blue" in this way.
