Death of a salesmen "Personality"

There is a major difference between having a good personality and being a good person. First off having a good personality may just mean you make people laugh or the class clown, but that does not make you a good person. A good person is someone who does not just think about whats best for him or herself, but also cares for the well being of others. In "Death of a Salesmen" this is seen often in the main character Willy. He strives so hard his whole life to provide for his family and never truely makes himself happy. But he is a good person. His efforts are solely for his family to be happy.

Having a good lifestyle and living well are also two very different terms. Just because you have a mansion or are filthy rich does not mean you have a good lifestyle. The richest man in the world could be the saddest person in the world if he doesnt have anyone to share it with. In "Death of a Salesman" Willy doesnt realize what he has and therefore he isnt happy. All he cares about is work and making lots of money so that he will have nice things. But he needs to notice is that he has a wife who loves him and two great sons. If he could look past the money and work he would be a happy person. This is the difference between a nice lifestyle and living well.
