Death of a Sales Man Blog

I the play Death of a Sales Man by Arthur Miller, the audience is emerged in the world of Willy a man who is contempt with being well liked and having a nice lifestyle. However just because one has a nice personality dose not always mean they are a good person, or at least from my experience I have noticed that. For example there are a lot of people who may be fun to be around, but morally they are not just. In the story one of the characters, Biff who is somebody that his father thinks is really great, but once the audience learns more about him, we learn that he maybe was not so morally just. Another example of looking deeper than just the skin would be how people, who have a nice life style may not be living well or being happy. For that is something as americans we all try and gain, a nice life style, but because we work so hard for this goal, we may not be happy. In the story the main family would be a prime example of this and how a family who looks like they are living well may not be actually happy.
