Being nice doesn't mean you are a good person. Happy is nice to the women he uses, but using them is an awful thing to do. Just like Willy, he is nice and pleasant person but having an affair proves his character to be less than good. People can be nice, and charming but that doesn't make them good people it could merely prove that they are good actors. Being a good person involves thoughts concerning others, something nice personalities can lack.

Living well and having a nice lifestyle mean different things. Living well, has it perks like not having to struggle with financial decisions and such but does that make for an over all nice lifestyle? Not necessarily, money and material items are nothing and do nothing to make one happy unless that person knows the true value of the more important things in life like loved ones and family.This is what makes for a nice lifestyle.
